Entertainment Asylum says feel the force with Mark Hamill on America Online! Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill will chat LIVE on Tuesday, December 23 at 8pm ET (5pm PT) in the Odeon Auditorium.

ABOUT MARK HAMILL

His father was a captain in the United States Navy; he grew up in California, Virginia, New York and Japan. He majored in drama at Los Angeles City College and made his acting debut on "The Bill Cosby Show" in 1970. He played a continuing role (Kent Murray) in TV's "General Hospital" (1963) and co-starred in the respected TV comedy series "The Texas Wheelers" (1974).

Real fame came with his film debut (he was voice only in "Wizards" in 1977) with the hero role of Luke Skywalker in "Star Wars" (1977), "The Empire Strikes Back" (1980) and "Return of the Jedi" (1983). He experienced a disfiguring car crash, but later played in Broadway shows (he was Mozart in "Amadeus"), returning to film in 1989.

Since his legendary portrayal of Luke Skywalker in the "Star Wars Trilogy," Mark Hamill has distinguished himself with his diverse involvement in film, television, theatre, animation, CD-ROM and graphics. His unique desire to experience the totality of the entertainment industry has never diminished. Hamill has broadened his creative scope to include more than just acting -- he has worked with set design, lighting design, sound, etc.

Hamill has achieved his earlier goals of being involved with the entirety of show business. While skillful as an film actor, voice-over actor ("Batman: The Animated Series," "Spiderman," et al) and theatre actor, he has now added writer, illustrator and comic book creator to his growing list of accomplishments.
